deathjack tweaks
I snuck in an hour on the DJ. The feet are attached. The head is pinned and dry fit. Overall it tilts forward a bit too far, it's going to make the arms a bit tricky.

Minor tweaks
One more hour in on the DJ. Keeping this detailed of an activity breakdown may drive me crazy.
Tasks du jour
Filed the should extensions down - ready for detail work
Both soul columns are pinned and dry fit to the smoke stacks
Both feet are pinned and dry fit

Frankensteins Monster
I've been working on converting the privateer press deathjack model. I disliked the locked pose on the arm assembly, and once you change one thing, you might as well tweak the works. I think it's going to be posed more like the the seether art in evolution.
I think I'm 15 to 20 hours in, and I worked another two hours on it tonight.
tasks du jour
pin the head in preperation for body attachment
first pass at the shoulder pad extensions
cleanup pass on spike extensions to the skull
remove first attempt at spine spikes
Having to remove the three test spikes from the spine was the biggest pain. Instead of the standard plate cover, the spikes will be extended all the way down the spine. Brown stuff is allegedly fileable, but it was too small of an amount, and it started shredding off of the brass rod.
